The Herd with Colin Cowherd

Colin Cowherd, a self proclaimed Michigan Wolverine hater, features topical commentary on the day’s most important sports news, as well as perspective on the top stories, interviews with the biggest newsmakers, and entertaining daily segments that include "Spanning the Globe", "The Daily Football Fix," and "Rants of the Day."  Take a few hours to hear Colin Cowherd weigh in on sports and life. He’s got information, interviews, insight, and a brutal sense of humor to boot. His show is an eclectic mixture of sports, pop culture, politics (he is a self professed moderate: conservative on economics and liberal on social issues, off-the-wall commentary, and his observations of everyday life.

Tim Brando attained national celebrity in front of the camera as the host of CBS Sports' College Football Today and At the Half, CBS Sports' college basketball halftime studio show. Brando also provides commentary for Jefferson Pilot's coverage of SEC and ACC basketball broadcasts and has been a participant in the SEC-focused athletic radio show Conference Call, which airs throughout the Southeast.
Brando's engaging on-air persona is best characterized as warm, fun and fast-paced, and his knowledge will stimulate compelling and engaging sports talk. Tim is highly respected amongst players, coaches, sports celebrities and sports journalists, and will draw upon his deep relationships within those communities to bring listeners an unprecedented level of participation with the biggest names in sports.

 Career highlights:
Football play-by-play analyst for Neville High School at age 14, then on to LSU as a play-by-play commentator, followed by nine years at ESPN, where he holds the record for the most sports covered at one network by one announcer - 25 different sports! Brando has also worked as a television analyst for Turner Sports/NBA, the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Hawks, a CBS Television commentator on The Road to the Final Four, College Football Today and, of course, now with Sporting News Radio as host of The Tim Brando Show!
